As I entered my freshman year of college, I knew I wanted to do something related to art. We had to take a class called Freshman Seminar. It basically introduced us to many different areas of the field. I was torn between more marketing-related art and art therapy. Art therapy required a whole lot of school which didn’t interest me at the time. Every once in a while I’ll wonder “what if”. I went more the studio route and took a ton of art classes … drawing, painting, 2D, 3D, history and more. Everything was very hands on and very little was done on the computer. Obviously things have changed over the last 15 years. It’s rare to just sit and sketch on paper when I’m so accustomed to a digital life.
I recently designed this logo and set for Launa. I love it because it combines both digital and elements I drew. I’m in love with the soft, sweet look of her whole set. And Launa … well she’s equally as sweet! Wishing you much success! xx
Kids go back to school tomorrow. My youngest starts Pre-K. It’s going to be a very different year. I’m bound and determined to get caught up on blogging all of the fun projects I’ve worked on this summer!
